Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Yardman to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our yard, ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are managed effectively. This position requires a proactive individual who can communicate well.
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday 6am - 3pm
Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Maintain an organised yard by managing the placement of vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Provide support in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and stock rotation.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing duties.
• Willing to drive between Wellingborough and Oakham delivering stock and goods

Skills

• Proven experience as a van driver or delivery driver, with a valid driving licence.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and management effectively.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and initiative.
