In this role as the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit. Your guidance will be instrumental in promoting professional growth and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
We are seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for Zayed 9 West which is our Comprehensive Transplant Unit. The Johns Hopkins Hospital Comprehensive Transplant Unit is a 32 bed adolescent/adult surgical unit. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floor, telemetry, and intermediate levels of care. Care and services provided: post-operative abdominal organ (kidney, liver, and pancreas) transplant recipients; as well as medical management of complications secondary to transplantation. This unit is the designated step down for the Composite Tissue Allotransplantation (hand & face) recipients.

Who Should Apply :

• BSN required
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
• BLS CPR certification required
• RN work experience required. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of acute care RN work experience, including 3 years with leadership and/or supervisory responsibilities
• Ability to lead others, communicate effectively, problem solve, motivate others, promote cost-effective use of resources, and apply principles of evidence-based practice.
