Who are you?
Are you a compassionate, licensed behavioral health therapist looking for flexibility and the chance to make a real impact? Start Talking, a nationwide telehealth practice, is seeking dedicated therapists to join our growing team. We offer a supportive and rewarding environment with the freedom to create your own ideal work environment.
What We Need From You:

• Dedicated Hours: We require a minimum of 12 appointment hours a week (which will be reflected in your schedule), with 2 additional open time slots for a 10 minute consultation call per week (The consultation calls are built into the rates for a 53 minute session)
• Reception and Administrative Work: Though you are welcome to place anyone on your own schedule, we are able to provide those administrative tasks so you don't have to!
• State Licenses: We are looking for Clinicians who are licensed in one or more of the following states: MA, CA, RI, WA
• Desire for growth: We are looking for Licensed professionals who are willing to gain licensure in multiple states as needed.
• Personal Commitment to success: We expect you to maintain an active Psychology Today profile, keep up with CAQH attestations, ensure all licenses and liability insurance are current, and consistently follow all practice policies (HIPAA, etc).
• Positive and Optimistic - You see the bright side of things. You are a warm and welcoming individual who enjoys the work that you do and enjoys communicating in a collaborative way with both your team and the people you serve.

Job Duties:

• Conduct psychotherapy sessions to address behavioral issues
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to inspire positive behavioral changes
• Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
• Apply cognitive behavioral therapy strategies and/or other evidence-based modalities to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, etc.)
• Must have active licensure in one or more of the following states: MA, CA, RI and/or NY
• Preferred: Licensed in multiple states or willingness to become licensed in multiple states
• Prior telehealth experience preferred but not required
• Comfortable with technology and conducting therapy sessions via video platforms
