Cage Cashier - Part Time - Stringtown Casino

Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour + Tips. 3 Month Tip Average: $18.71 per hour | Shift and Schedule: 2:30pm to 11:00pm Sunday through Tuesday , 6:45am to 3:15am on Friday at the Casino TOO with Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday OFF | Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position. | This position is a Non-Restricted On Call position. |
Primary Tasks:
- You will be responsible for large sums of money and the payout of tickets; therefore, the cashier must follow Casino procedures exactly.
- Ensure all required paperwork is signed and in the shift packets for auditing procedures.
- Ensure the customer has signed for all payout for tickets over location-set amount before the ticket is paid.
- Answer customer or public inquiries regarding general gaming procedures, and payouts.
- You will make change at the customer's request; exchange money, credit, tokens, and tickets.
- Verify identification of customers when needed.
- Verify authenticity of tickets and requests for payouts.
- Keep accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations.
- Perform other tasks may be assigned.
- Experience handling large volumes of cash
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Knowledge of high-volume cash handling policies
- Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions, or conversions)
