Toucan Gaming is seeking a detail and number-oriented, friendly, full-time 'Vault Manager' to join our team at our Service Center in Lafayette, LA. This role is responsible for efficiently balancing our cash vault, processing deposits, and bundling cash and coins for distribution. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to think critically and problem-solve. Ideal employment backgrounds include gained experience as a bank teller, bookkeeper, auditor, etc., however overall, an honest individual, who works well with others, is happy to come to work each day, and is willing to learn is encouraged to apply. Additionally, the Vault Manager doesn't mind repetitive tasks and is excited to be a part of a growing company.

Candidates will be required to complete and pass a background screening and pre-employment drug screening. Individuals with a history of theft, or drug-related or violent crimes will not be considered due to the nature of the role and potential requirement to obtain a poker permit and meet suitability with the state of Louisiana Gaming Enforcement to do so.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties as a Casino Vault Manager

• Daily balancing of income documents per shift; troubleshooting as needed
• Cash handling, sorting, and counting
• Preparation of deposits and money bags
• Cash replenishment for dispensing equipment
• Data entry into tracking software; preparation of daily reports for submission
• Auditing (counts and verification) of cash vaults
• Auditing deposit slips, balance sheets, and gaming tickets of cash value for mistakes; guiding report corrections as needed

Required Work Cards

• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States.
• A valid state-issued driver's license, identification card or U.S. Military identification card is required while working at the casino facility. Failure to maintain a valid Video Draw Poker permit or an identification card as mentioned above may result in suspension and up to termination of employment

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week; 8am- 3 or 4pm Monday-Friday
