Concierge Security Guard

Freestone is a luxury lake and golf club encompassing the largest privately owned lake in the United States. Set upon 5,000 acres of open water, rolling hills and Savannah Post Oaks, Freestone provides a generational retreat for family and friends halfway between Dallas and Houston.
The breathtaking property provides water-front golf at a championship level, trophy bass fishing, boating without public access, and all of the activities and amenities a family should expect from a world-class, private resort.
Position Summary:
We are looking for security professionals to greet members, provide access control, respond to emergencies, and perform some light administrative tasks. The Concierge Security Guard is the first and last impression of the high end Freestone Lake and Golf Club resort therefore the individual must be knowledgeable of the grounds, abreast of operating policies, and socially mature. Our Concierge Security Guards are unarmed yet key to the oversight and quality feel of the grounds. The role will interact with members, staff, and visitors frequently. This position requires exceptional interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity and professionalism, sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:

18 years or older - High school diploma
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Current Texas Department of Public Safety Level II license/pocket card
- Preferred, one year experience or more in high end resorts, private golf clubs or similar
- One year experience as a security professional
- Demonstrates a combination of security and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, personable, and approachable
- Capable of engaging in courteous conversation
- Displays an understanding of protocol and decorum for a luxury resort environment
- Knowledge of emergency response and (preferred) basic first aid
- Familiarity with incident report writing
Essential Functions:

Maintains Texas Department of Public Safety Level II license/pocket card. - Remains knowledgeable of the entire Freestone Lake and Golf Club premises, amenities, and operating procedures.
- Monitors and controls access points for authorized entry and exit.
- Provides physical presence to deter trespassers and criminal activity.
- Reacts to alarms, suspicious activities, and emergency situations in accordance with state laws and company policy.
- Completes daily activity reports and incident reports.
- Cordially greets and dialogues with members and visitors; assists others by answering questions, providing directions, etc.
- Maintains high ethical standards and professionalism.
- Presents a professional appearance and adheres to company dress code.
- Represents the company with integrity and dedication.
