THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will be supporting the development, maintenance, and automation in Delivery Engineering operations. You will be involved in enhancing the stability, scalability, and efficiency of Delivery Engineering services under the guidance of more senior engineers. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies, while contributing to our strategic goals, including improving security, providing support, and ensuring high availability.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Assist in the support and maintenance of Delivery Engineering applications, adhering to best practices for security and performance.
- Help monitor and support Delivery Engineering services using tools like Data Dog, identifying performance issues, resolving Jira tickets and supporting optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with software development and operations teams to implement cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Supporting Delivery Engineering projects, learning to identify opportunities for workflow improvement and system reliability and providing support through Jira.
- Supporting Delivery Engineering services and databases, including cost optimization, security compliance, and data integrity.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, learning new tools and practices under the guidance of more experienced team members.
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Some experience AWS services and databases (My SQL/RDBMS), holding a relevant certification. (relevant certifications are a plus but not required).
- Foundational understanding of infrastructure automation and experience with scripting languages.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools like Data Dog, with a willingness to learn more advanced analytics and monitoring practices.
- Strong interest in cloud services support and eagerness to learn about database support operations.
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a desire to work effectively across teams.
- A passion for continuous learning, innovation, and improvement in cloud technologies and practices. and practices.

The applicable salary range for this position is $108,000 - $150,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. Fan Duel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
