Head of Data Analytics

As the Head of Analytics, you will be responsible for shaping the analytics strategy, infrastructure, and team development. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, especially Product and Data Engineering, you will transform complex data into key insights that drive business and customer success. You'll lead efforts to grow our analytics capabilities and ensure that our team and tools are well-aligned with our evolving product needs. This is an opportunity to build a critical function from scratch.
About the role:
  • Develop Core Metrics and Proprietary Insights: Partner with the Product team to define, measure, and evolve core metrics, developing proprietary data and analyses that deliver impactful, actionable insights to our customers.
  • Coordinate Data Infrastructure: Work with Data Engineering to identify, build, and maintain the right data infrastructure. Ensure the analytics team has scalable access to reliable and relevant data for timely analysis and reporting.
  • Drive Tooling and Process Improvements: Advise on and lead the adoption of analytics tools and processes, evaluating new technologies to advance the team's analytical capabilities and efficiency.
  • Grow and Mentor the Analytics Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics team. Support team members' growth, ensuring they have the skills, resources, and structure to succeed in a dynamic environment.
About you:
  • Proven experience in analytics leadership, ideally within a product-oriented or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience partnering with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Deep knowledge of data infrastructure, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing a team of data professionals.
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate complex data findings into clear insights for diverse audiences.
