Speedbox LLC is hiring immediately for non-driving delivery helpers in Aurora. Earn $19.00/hour plus receive $5250 per calendar year in tuition reimbursement. This delivery helper role is open to anyone 18+ years of age who is available to work full-time (3-4 days a week), including at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). Prospective employees must be able to pass a 5 panel drug test which includes testing for THC/cannabis.
As a Delivery Helper, you'll be responsible for helping a box truck driver safely complete a delivery route. A typical route will deliver 40 - 50 packages per day weighing up to 300 lbs each. Delivery Helpers must be able to climb in/out of a box truck, operate a lift gate, and slide/maneuver/lift heavy packages weighing 100-300 lbs each with assistance from the box truck driver. You'll also assist with customer service, including notifying each customer of our estimated arrival time and using a smartphone GPS to help the box truck driver navigate to each stop. Our routes cover all of Denver and northern Colorado, including deliveries in mountain areas.

Non-Driving Delivery Helper: Starting pay $19.00/hour
Package Delivery Driver (Cargo Van / Non-DOT Vehicles): Starting pay $23.50/hour
Package Delivery Driver (Box Truck / DOT Vehicles): Starting pay $24.50/hour

This position is based at the Amazon HDE2 delivery station at 22300 E 26th Ave, Aurora, CO 80019, near I-70 and Tower Road in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood area.
Multiple Schedule Options to Match Your Life
Our Delivery Operations Team runs 7 days a week, 360 days a year. This role will start between 09:30 - 10:30 AM each day and will generally end before 09:00 PM. Full-time teammates will be scheduled to work 3 - 4 days a week, including at least one weekend day.
Key Responsibilities

Being a Safety-First leader where you must independently be able to maintain the highest levels of safety at the terminal, while driving on road, and at every delivery stop.
Provide excellent service by communicating verbally and in writing with customers, interpreting customer delivery instructions, and maintaining professional conduct while in uniform.
Quickly solve a wide variety of irregular situations to stay safe and ensure customer satisfaction.
Keep pace in a physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes including in rural/mountainous areas
Lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis. Bulky/oversized & appliance delivery drivers must be able to maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs using material handling equipment, or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team.
Climb in and out of a delivery vehicle at up to 200 delivery stops and climb 20-40 flights of stairs at apartments during each delivery route.
Use a smart phone device for GPS navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicating with supervisors and other team members.
Help keep our fleet in tip-top shape by performing daily vehicle inspections and cleaning vehicles.
Keeping a professional appearance at all time, including a willingness to follow uniform and PPE (personal protective equipment) guidelines.

What’s Needed to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

We need reliable, flexible teammates in an environment where punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position.
Non-driving Helper positions are available to anyone that is 18+ years old. Delivery drivers must be 21+ years of age.
Must pass a 5 Panel Drug Test which includes pre-employment testing for cannabis & marijuana.
Teammates must have proficient English speaking, reading, and writing communication skills.
All employees must be authorized to work in the United States.
