Job Description:
The Houseperson is responsible for delivering clean linens to housekeeping carts, closets, or units daily or as required. The houseperson also removes and delivers soiled linen and terry to the laundry room for cleaning and assists with laundry as needed. The houseperson removes trash from rooms that depart and disposes of them in the proper receptical, filling amenity bottles, and assisting with beds as needed. The houseperson acts as the concierge for the room attendants, ensuring that they have everything they need to properly clean a unit without having to spend time finding supplies. The houseperson also accomplishes specific tasks as assigned by their supervisor or manager including but not limited to operating a carpet cleaning machine, cleaning walkways, and other special projects.
