Job Description
The Specialty Inside Sales Lead Consultant is responsible for working closely with independent agents to profitably grow the National General footprint within a region. This role is responsible for meeting region volume and profit objectives for all available products, while maintaining and growing a relationship between the company and appointed agents.
Key Responsibilities

• Consistently achieving agreed upon new business production, direct written premium, loss ratio goals, and other KPIs on an annual basis by effectively managing the agents of an assigned territory.
• Responsible for soliciting new agencies, evaluating their potential to write quality new business, and recommending qualified new agencies for appointment to the VP/RSM.
• Responsible for recommending agencies to participate in profit-sharing, rewards, and special incentives programs, and other agency sales initiatives.
• Responsible for increasing the percentage of producing agents within the territory through additional training and process improvements. Also responsible for terminating agents for lack of production, unprofitable results, or other cause.

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 2 + years of work experience in P&C insurance operations (Required))

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $48,200.00 - 60,200.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
