We have an exciting opportunity for an Import Agent to join our team in Los Angeles. The handles day to day operations pertaining to Ocean/Air Imports and acts as a liaison with the Customer Service Department

The Opportunity

Handles day to day operations, for both Ocean/Air Imports
Updates/KPI/Data Compliance/invoicing, auto-rating requirements.

Tracks and traces export ocean/air cargo from departure to arrival
Completes data entry, status reports, monitors shipment status.
Coordinates cargo movement with Ocean/Air Carriers, and trucking companies
Receives/Reviews documents, Bills of Lading, MAWB, HAWB

What you'll need to succeed

Ability to occasionally lift to 10 lbs. required.
High school diploma or GED
1-2 years in global forwarding Import with operations and customer service experience
Computer skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Offic and Cargowise one system software experience preferred
Results-orientated and resilient

Salary Indicative: $60 000 - $75 000
