Inventory Coordinator

Agri Northwest is seeking a results-driven Inventory Coordinator to manage the purchasing and inventory of supplies for the shop and obtain the optimum price, quality and quantity.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate the purchasing and ordering process of repair parts, PPE (personal protective equipment), and shop supplies for the farm shop.
Coordinate with our Vendors to keep them well informed of our product needs and specifications.
Manage usage and inventory of repair parts, PPE, and employee supplies to forecast demand and avoid overstocking and shortages.
Oversee the PO process for the Farm; enter approved PO’s into the system and send the signed receiving document with a printed copy of the PO to Accounts Payable for processing.
Coordinate and cooperatively work with other departments to resolve issues relevant to the suppliers.
Investigate, develop, and administer the implantation of cost reductions relevant to suppliers.
Maintain good documentation of all activities and conversations with suppliers.
Champion the company safety guidelines to keep self and team members safe at work.
Attend required training and meetings to keep current on updated procedures and regulations.
Cross train on other duties and serve as back-up to other team members.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma of GED equivalent.
3-5 years of relevant Purchasing/Procurement experience.
Valid Driver’s License.
Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
Effective negotiation skills.
Strong demonstrated communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Bilingual Spanish a plus.
Meet the physical requirements of the role which includes heavy lifting, bending, kneeling and twisting throughout work period.
Able to work outside in year-round weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, and rain.

Pay: $23.90 - $35.90 per hour
