We are excited to be expanding our headquarters in Burlington, Vermont, and are looking for talented individuals to join our team.
One Day In July provides personalized investment management and fiduciary financial advice, generally focused on index funds, to clients in Vermont and across the United States.
As an Investment Desk Associate, your primary responsibility will be executing trades within client accounts. This trading largely involves rebalancing client asset allocations and reviewing unique investment situations. You will work closely with our advisors and sometimes directly with clients. You will utilize proprietary software and construct spreadsheets to execute trades. You will report to the firm’s Founder/CEO, Dan Cunningham.
You do not need prior financial industry experience, but you do need to obtain a Series 65 or equivalent set of licenses prior to starting this role. The Investment Desk Associate role involves making real-time asset allocation decisions within client portfolios. While no prior industry experience is required, you must have a keen interest and strong understanding of finance and economics and be able to apply that knowledge to real world scenarios.
Responsibilities include:

• Trade and rebalance client accounts.
• Look to reduce taxes incurred.
• Process paperwork and other client requests.
• Construct spreadsheets for trading and sometimes for clients.
• Utilize our CRM to carefully manage client portfolios and keep detailed records.
• Answer questions and help train new advisors and staff.
• On occasion, work directly with clients.
