Job Requirements:
● Operate laundry equipment.
● Clean lint traps
● Sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute linens and towels.
● Record or log damaged and/or disposed linens and towels.
● Maintain supply of linens and towels in all supply closets.
● Maintain cleanliness and order of all linen supply closets.
● Loads articles into washers and dryers.
● Starts washer by setting to appropriate cycle for type of material being washed.
● Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them successively into dryers for measured time cycles.
● Sorts dried articles according to type
● Folds and places item into appropriated storage bin
● Conducts inventory as requested by supervisor.
● Maintain and ensure all laundry items are prepared in accordance to brand and Prominence Standards.
● Maintain cleanliness of the Laundry Room etc
● Assist in monthly inventory.
● Report all repair needs to supervisor.
● Attend all mandatory meetings and mandatory hotel functions.
● Cross-train within department
● Complete all required reports, records and/or logs.
● Maintain and organize all work areas.
