• Develop, implement, and effectively manage the department budget, capital expenditures, and engineering-related objectives.
• Hire, train, schedule, and manage maintenance staff
• Ensure a safe environment that protects the assets, guests, and all hotel associates
• Develop, implement & direct all Emergency programs.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained
• Conduct inspections & drills, and ensure compliance with all codes and regulations

• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• Exceptional follow-through, strong organizational skills, and time management skills are required
• 3-5 years of hotel or building maintenance or engineering experience required
• Property maintenance certifications are preferred
• Able to obtain and/or maintain any government-required licenses, certificates, or permits
• When required, be available at the hotel during bad weather conditions
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
• Ability to stand during the entire shift
