Hourly Salary: $19.98 - $23.99
Anticipated Work Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday 12:30PM to 9:00PM

Essential Job Functions - the basic job duties an employee must be able to perform:

• Perform a variety of custodial and basic building and ground maintenance services
• Remove trash and debris in and around parking garages
• Empty trash receptacles
• Perform basic landscape maintenance
• Remove trash and debris from lawn areas; keep walkways and parking lots free of snow
• Perform preventive maintenance on parking meters and other equipment as assigned
• Provide maintenance to multi-space meters
• Provide maintenance to parking access and revenue control equipment

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
Knowledge of:

• Occupational hazards and standard safety practices
• Cleaning practices and procedures

Ability to:

• Follow approved sanitation and cleanliness standards
• Safely and effectively operate assigned equipment, tools, and vehicles
• Maintain an awareness of safety issues

Successful candidates will have

• Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade (high school diploma or GED)
• Possess, or obtain upon hire, and maintain a valid, non-probationary Colorado driver’s license not subject to restriction related to alcohol and/or drug violations or pending charges

One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education (OR) one year of relevant academic coursework beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for one year of required professional experience.

Ideal candidates will also have

• One (1) year of full-time janitorial experience
• Experience in parking meter repair and maintenance
• The ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision

Additional Information

Physical Demands: Exerting 20-50 lbs. occasionally; 10-25 lbs. frequently; or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
