Anyone with class/project/work experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) with track record of excellence in this field are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:

• Research on new technologies and how they can be incorporated in VOCAL’s custom products for improvement.
• Testing performance of algorithms such as beamforming, AEC, ANR, dereverberation, VAD, and BSS by using both subjective and objective measures, and with speech recognition engines.
• Designing fast and efficient acoustic DSP algorithms for implementation on embedded processors.
• Coordinate software development activities with other DSP engineers such as prototyping and tuning algorithms to meet and exceed customer requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Anyone with a STEM major and an excellent GPA are encouraged to apply!
• Strong understanding of linear algebra, calculus, and Fourier analysis.
• Theoretical and working knowledge of adaptive signal processing and stochastic processes.
• Experience developing software for embedded systems.
• Experience workings with systems utilizing beamforming and/or phased arrays.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Bachelors degree or higher in either: Math, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any other related field.
• Projects or work experience with Digital Signal Processing.
