Milescraft is privately held and continues to outpace the industry in the DIY powre tool accessories and woodworking tool category. This position is available due to our growth and need to design and produce more high quality products. Our products are available on-line, in leading big box retailers and specialty stores. If you have a background or related education in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technologies , CAD systems such as Solid Works, Drafting, and you enjoy innovation and product design then you need to apply.
You need to think above and beyond the obvious to develop new products, and you'll drive your projects from concept all the way to serial production.

Responsibilities:
- Design using CAD software Solid Works
- Create detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and develop innovative solutions
- Perform system design and integration, including selecting appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes
- Conduct testing and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Creo, Solid Works,
- Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools for structural analysis.
- Knowledge of drafting standards and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in plastic injection molding, metal stamping, die casting, extrusions, metal fabrication, or powdered metal manufacturing preferred.
- Strong Solid works proficiency preferred
- Must be mechanically inclined, able to work with power tools, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
