Job Description:
Instructors certified to teach in the Parent Education Department may teach childbirth preparation courses, refresher courses, prenatal breastfeeding, Teen prenatal, Baby Child saver or facilitate the Mother Baby Support Group. They may represent the department at public appearances and as guest speakers at public events. All classes require an updated syllabus annually which promotes informed choices and family centered care.

Education/Experience:

BA or BS in education or health education, Graduate of an accredited nursing program preferred. At least one year of experience providing care to pregnant/pp women

Certification/License:

IBCLE certified Lactation Consultant or Childbirth/Parent/OB education certification
