About the Role
The Omnichannel Media Director is an essential role at our new agency. This individual will own client media planning and lead the build out of our omnichannel media capabilities. Our omnichannel strength and your digital media planning expertise is what makes Addressable Health special.
The Omnichannel Media Director will focus on several critical areas:

Client Delivery: Work with our media planner to co-develop and execute impactful omnichannel media campaigns, including channel strategy, tactical recommendations, RFP development and execution - Service Development: Shaping our solutions and infrastructure to ensure that we’re defending and building our competitive advantage
The ideal candidate should have ~5-7 years of experience in digital media planning. This role requires a highly collaborative individual who is analytical and uses data-enabled problem-solving capabilities to deliver flawless programmatic media buys. An entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, and proactive follow-up are essential skills for success in this position.
Primary Responsibilities
Client Management: Support AH’s critical first clients as the Media Planning SME
- Develop comprehensive understanding of client's business, brands, media channels, and competitive landscape and market dynamics
- Demonstrate the fiscal & operational acumen to manage budgets and ensure execution scope
- Proactively bring new ideas, opportunities, and best practices to client and agency
- Organically grow the client business by managing risks and identifying opportunities, leading & working with the full team to address both
Service Delivery: Plan, direct and project manage omnichannel media programs for clients
- Ensure execution quality and adherence to strategy across all areas of client scope, in particular
- Participate in strategic planning, including establishing objectives and strategies
- With our Media Planner
- Lead tactical planning activities, developing recommendations, tracking expenditures to ensure budget compliance, negotiation/buying, implementation and optimization
- Lead media RPF activity (e.g., drafting, assessment, negotiations and contracting)
- Oversee our Media Planner in managing Media Operations, ensuring high quality delivery and alignment to media plan
- Partner with internal/external teams to ensure plans are developed & deployed with excellence
- Fully understand KPIs for brand & campaign objectives and collaborate with analytics team on insights, analysis, and optimization recommendations
- Actively mitigate and manage risks and issues that may affect time, budget, and/or quality
- Proactively bring new ideas, opportunities, and best practices to agency and client teams to educate, foster creativity, and create new offerings
- Monitor trends and attend vendor meetings to stay current on offerings
- Evaluate and create new media opportunities from internal or external capabilities
- Foster senior level partnerships with prospective clients, partners, and vendors
Leadership: Act as a role model for clients, partners, and colleagues
- Provide leadership and serve as a role model within the client, agency, and industry
- Understand when it’s appropriate to make decisions independently and when to escalate
- Provide professional development to our Media Planner and ongoing feedback to team members
- Help interview, train and orient new team members to the agency, department, and account(s)
Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:
- College degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, communications or science/medicine
- 7+ years Agency or comparable experience, some management experience preferred
- 5-7+ years of digital media planning experience
- Strong & confident presentation and people skills; Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Deep experience managing HCP omnichannel campaigns including: Point of Care/EHR, Biddable (Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic), Video, Print, custom programs and congress/journal
- Firsthand experience with patient media channels: Point of Care, Programmatic, communities
- Expertise in cross-channel media tools (e.g., Comscore @ plan, SRDS, Double Click, etc.)
- Confidence in interpreting marketing & media performance data (e.g., MMA, ROI, campaign/channel data)
- Understanding of CRM disciplines including primary research, customer segmentation, targeting, direct marketing, and customer care
- Understanding of SEO and earned media strategies and tactics
- Basic understanding of analytical tools used for listening, ad tracking, website, and app statistics (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, Crimson Hexagon, etc.)

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
