Offered salary and other compensation:
Based on your experience and performance record, we offer $300K - $400K. Additionally, we offer

About our practice:

• Florida vein care specialists was started in 2013 with 1 location in Merritt Island Florida. Since that time the practice has grown to 6 locations. The practice specializes in only vein treatments. There are no arterial procedures. The majority of the time is spent performing venous ablation, phlebectomy, sclerotherapy. There is also an office-based Cath lab for deep venous procedures but these are only performed by Dr. Meyer.
• Currently all 6 locations are covered by Dr. Meyer, 1 physician assistant, and 1 nurse practitioner. The clinicians travel to each of the offices. The 2 busiest offices are in Winter Park and Melbourne
• There are also offices in Windermere, Debary, Winter Haven and East Orlando. The practice has become extremely busy in recent years. It is now the busiest vein center in Central Florida. Despite being busy, we make every attempt to begin each office at 9 AM and finished by 5 PM.

Venous disease is being recognized by the general population as well as primary care physicians and the growth of this field has exploded with the implementation of new minimally invasive treatments over the past 10 years. • At Florida Vein Care Specialists, we are at the cutting edge of vein care. Dr. Meyer is also the owner and CMO of a large medical device company called Vein360. This has given us the opportunity to network with and share knowledge with hundreds of other vein centers in the United States.
• Dr. Meyer also is the owner of Vein Academy and has successfully trained hundreds of physicians on the art and science of vein care. Because we have multiple offices, we have developed repeatable processes to make sure that every office runs smoothly and efficiently which leads to high patient and staff satisfaction.

Your Mission as physician:

• You will help strengthen our group expansion and reputation by providing excellent service.
• You will reduce the workload on the other clinicians in the practice.

Physician’s duties and responsibilities:

• Perform venous ablations daily
• Perform phlebectomy and ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy daily
• New patient evaluation
• Minimal charting – all procedure reports are templated in the EMR.

Required experience and qualifications:

• Graduation from a US medical school and residency
• Surgical training or vein care experience is not required.

Preferred soft skills and personality traits:
We have a very patient-centric practice. The ability to put patients at ease and the ability to empathize and communicate with the patients are the most important skill that we are looking for.
