At Magna, we are extremely fortunate to provide our safety services to two of the top suppliers of natural gas in the United States. Our value-added safety company is actively looking for responsible and reliable individuals to help safely lead convoys for our clients to and from oil and gas sites. Experience is not necessary as we provide paid training.
We are an elite pilot car/traffic control company that services the Marcellus Shale area. Our team is comprised of well-trained certified pilot car drivers, 24/7 safety and field operation supervision, and an experienced knowledgeable management staff. Magna also delivers a well-rounded division of Penn DOT certified flaggers with training provided in house. With 15+ years of experience we can ensure to provide the best quality of service and the highest of safety standards to our clients, staff, and most of all to the local public.
Pay Structure:
$15 to $17 per hour
All raises are issued based on Magna employee performance and attendance at work and are at the sole discretion of Magna Executive Management. Our company exclusively promotes from within, as EVERY one of our Field Operation and Safety Supervisors started out as Magna Pilot Drivers.
Job Types: Full-time/Part-time. 12 hour shifts
Job Duties:

• Safely lead sand and water trucks into and out from gas & oil wells
• Follow designated route in and out from sites as determined by management
• Maintain proper speed at all times as determined by management
• Communicate using CB radios with the trucks being escorted
• Assist with Traffic Control and Flagging
• Keep communities moving in a safe manner
• 1 day of paid orientation (class room setting) to obtain Pilot Car Driver certification followed by 3 days of paid, on site training is provided

Location:

• The work is in the oil & gas industry, so job sites will move within the area.
• Travel time to job sites will vary as we go where our customers go

Schedule:

• 12 Hour Shifts (4 AM to 4 PM and 4 PM to 4 AM)
• Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays and have open availability.

All applicants must be:

• Maintain their own reliable transportation to and from work sites
• Have a minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Clean driving record-No DUI's
• Ability to speak, read and write the English language
