Post Harvest Lead

The Post-Harvest Lead oversees post-harvest operations as assigned (harvest-drying-bucking-trimming) as well as train staff to meet production goals while maintaining a high-quality cannabis line fully consistent with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Coordinates and directs the activities within the post-harvest area.
  • Works with all employees engaged in post-harvest activities to ensure the entire process is monitored and regulated.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
  • Receives, sorts, and preps produce for multiple departments including Lab, Packaging, and Kitchen.
  • Ensures order fulfillment and optimal quality and food safety of CODES post-harvest product.
  • Provides the organizational tools to improve the capability of the business process.
  • Schedules all activities to maximize efficiency and schedules all post-harvest activities to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Directs technicians.
  • Oversees the complete drying process and ensure the dried product meets required specifications.
  • Weighs, combines, and manages bulk inventory containers, ensuring accurate weights.
  • Assists in fulfillment and shipping during peak periods.
  • Maintains a safe work environment by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Communicates effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Understands company goals, objectives, policies and matters related to the business.
  • Operates and uses assigned equipment and machinery.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Mandatory - Must have 1 year of Post Harvest Cannabis experience and experience with a T2 trimmer.
  • Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check
  • Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations

  • Available to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Reliable transportation
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Experience in a post-harvest or inventory management environment preferred
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
