Our motivation is simple: We believe we have a responsibility to eliminate the negative impact of single use products. Inspired by how street vendors serve tea in India, we are developing technology to print ultra-thin clay cups, bowls and plates that disintegrate naturally after use. At scale, locally and ready in mere seconds. It’s a simple solution to a massive problem for our planet: Every year, over 500 billion disposable cups are used worldwide, most of which end up in our oceans and landfills.
## Your Role
We are looking for Production Assistants for our production facility in San Francisco’s Dogpatch, where we make hundreds of our cups every day. You will participate in all stages of the production process, supported by our engineering and development team.

• Initially limited to 2 months to fulfill current orders. Start as soon as possible.
• Full-time, onsite position.
• Throughout the production process, we combine traditional ceramic production techniques with modern technology.
• You will print hundreds of ultra thin clay-based cups each day.
• You will rotate between the different steps of the production process throughout the week.

This is a temporary role based in San Francisco, California. The hourly wage is $ 22 - 25 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. ## Your Profile

• Experience in ceramics studios. If you have prior experience in the production of ceramics, we’d love to talk to you.
• Interest in manufacturing or mechanical engineering. While not a requirement, a demonstrated interest in technical work is a big plus.
• Reliable & Organized. You do what you say. The team can count on you.
• Physical work. You’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty.
• Detail oriented. Our cups are ultra thin. Precision matters.
• Location. You can work in person in San Francisco and are authorized to work in the United States.
