Mr. Moxey’s is the number one cannabis mint in the United States and will be ramping up sales of our Hemp business in the coming months.
Position
We are looking for a self-starter, who works well independently to help ramp up the Mr. Moxey’s hemp business. In this position you will be the primary production and packaging point for Mr. Moxey’s products. You must possess a high attention to detail, a strong work ethic and excellent organizational and communication skills. This role is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week and is located in Portland, Oregon. You will report directly to the General Manager of the Mr. Moxey’s Hemp division.
Responsibilities

• Able to perform all aspects of production and packing work as they pertain to drink manufacturing and handmade mint creation.
• Operating a custom drink line from product scale and mixing through to final packaging.
• Creating dough based mints from product scale and mix through to final packaging.
• Scale and mix ingredients to precise measurements
• Report to the General Manager about the status of projects
• Follow established production procedures, including associated paperwork
• Prepare production areas for daily use before production begins for the day
• End of day clean-up, including dishwashing, mopping and reorganization of materials
• Willingness to step outside of standard daily tasks when needed to support broader business needs.

Qualifications & Required Skills

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1+ years experience in production required
• Packaging experience also desired
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to focus in a busy environment
• Ability to notice and prevent mistakes
• Able to take direction and be mentored to succeed in role
• Knowledge of general food safety practices and requirements
• Proactive, self-motivated and hardworking
• Competent in basic math
• Ability to work in groups and independently as needed
• Good verbal communication
• Able to display excellent time management skills

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Work requires hours of standing and walking on hard surfaces.
• Production and packaging requires frequent stooping, bending, and balancing.
• Grasping and repetitive movement or pressure involving wrists or hands.
• The ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs. and more frequently lift 25 lbs or less is required.
• The movement of pallets, packaging, and finished products require the ability to push/pull 500 lbs.
