We are now recruiting Second Shift Production & Packing Operatives to join the Gripple Inc. team. This is a fantastic opportunity for confident, hardworking people who are capable of working both as part of a team and on their own.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Production Operative Responsibilities
Based in Aurora IL, your main task will be to operate the production machines (setting up, changing over and ensuring the product quality is up to standard) and work to sales orders, planners and Kanban requirements. This is a physically demanding role, so energy, enthusiasm and an ability to do some hand assembly and light lifting are crucial. In addition, your duties will include:

• Basic production fault finding to identify machine problems
• Undertaking the care of machines & equipment as part of your daily role
• Maintaining and driving forward 5s standards
• Using IT systems to update works orders and complete quality checks
• Must be able to lift 20-40lbs consistently

2nd shift 1:00pm to 9:00pm
Packing Operative Responsibilities
Based in Aurora IL, your main task will be to check orders for accuracy, package our product both manually and operating bagging machines, and preparing orders for shipment. In addition, your duties will include

• Pick orders correctly from stock
• Pack all products received from production
• Complete orders using IT systems and touch screens
• Work as a team for quality checks
• Must be able to lift 20-40lbs consistently

2nd shift 1:00pm to 9:00pm
Qualifications
Must have:
· Fluent in spoken and written English
· Strong communication and team working skills
· Familiarity with Manufacturing and Warehousing
· An ability to work to deadlines and remain focused in busy periods
· The drive to challenge machine targets, identify areas for improvement and remain task/goal motivated.
This is not a remote position

Pay: $18.49 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
