Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually.The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation withColumbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. We are currently searching for a dynamic Full time Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our outstanding team. We have immediate openings and flexible schedules. This position has a mix of cases; besides the bread and butter we also serve light pediatrics, obstetric, neuro, orthopedics and plastics. Daily work includes working with NPs, medical students and residents.

Provide psychiatric management for adults, age 18 and up, in an acute inpatient setting
Day shift 9am to 5PM
Develop treatment plans and manage electronic medical record (EPIC) in accordance with New York State Office of Mental Health and other regulations
Work with consultants as indicated by patient needs
Lead multi-disciplanary inpatient team with a caseload of 12 or less
Supervision of NP's and/or Psychiatry Residents
Provide clinical supervision to psychiatry residents and medical students
Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team in management of complex cases
Participate in didactic training programs for psychiatric residents, medical students, psychology interns and other trainees
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities

Board Eligible or Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist
M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
Completed residency training in an accreditedprogram within Psychiatry
License to practice medicine in the State of New York

Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $236,900* (board eligible); $247,200* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $364,590** (board eligible) and $415,920** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous years average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.

Loan Forgiveness: Position may be eligible for loan forgiveness through certain state or federal programs.
Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to the employee.
