Responsibilities:

• 1-2 years of hospitality industry porter role
• Knowledge of protocols for dish cleaning and sanitation
• Follow the Department of Health standards and guidelines.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen areas throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in a team environment and take direction.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand, reach, and bend throughout the shift.
• Responsible, dependable, and punctual
• Dishwashing, including pots and pans.
• Responsible for cleaning floors, mats, and garbage bins, taking out the trash and replacing garbage bags in the bins. Responsible for deep cleaning the Catering kitchen at least twice a week.
• Various deep cleaning maintenance projects for the kitchen and non-kitchen areas
• Receiving deliveries, checking quality, dates, and correctness of items, and communicating any shorted items to be deducted from invoices with the chef.
• Organizing and putting away deliveries on time.
• Taking all items out of their boxes and into lexans, cambros, or fish tubs and putting them away. Properly disposing of boxes
• Responsible for organizing the walk-ins and dry storage, always adhering to safety and proper storage practices.

Base salary: $18.00-$23.00/hour
