Provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. To collaborate with other members of the health care delivery team including physicians, to deliver quality health care to the newborn, obstetric, and gynecologic patient population.

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) required one month from hire date/transfer date
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required six months from hire date
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) required six months from hire date

Required Licenses

[Kentucky, United States] Registered Nurse
Must have Valid Kentucky RN License OR compact state
