What you’ll do:

  Relocation to Southfield , Michigan .. or.. Menomonee Falls , Wisconsin is available for a candidate currently residing in the US. Sponsorship of any kind cannot be supported for this role due to governmental sensitivity.

Qualifications:

• Completed Ph D in Electrical Engineering.
• 9+ years of experience in R&D or product design, with hands on experience in control systems development and testing in the power electronics domain
• 7+ years of Model Based Systems Development experience in the power electronics domain
• 7 + years of hands-on power electronics algorithm development and testing experience
• Must have deep understanding of academic literature and state of the art technologies in the controls space
• Must have extensive experience in embedded systems hardware and software(Microcontrollers, FPGAs, RTOS)

• Ph D with focus in optimal controls highly preferred .
• Experience in control of electric machines, power converters and active front end applications
• Experience in control system verification using Rapid-prototyping-platforms and Hardware-in-Loop systems
• Experience in control system development using techniques such as state observers, Model Predictive Control, LQR etc.
• Experience with power electronics Hardware/Software/Control algorithms integration
