Sr. Warehouse Manager

Gaatu, Inc., an e-commerce distributor, is looking for a responsible, efficient individual with stellar leadership skills to oversee the warehouse distribution and 4PL services at our Bolingbrook, IL. Location.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position; hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm with some overtime as needed. We also will occasionally work Saturdays or Sundays and will require that management is present to ensure coverage of the warehouse. This means that you will be required to work 1-2 weekend days per month.
Job Description/ Responsibilities:

Manage and direct day-to-day activities through subordinate managers of the entire 4PL operation.
Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
Monitor performance against operational goals and develop reporting and auditing processes used to analyze operational effectiveness.
Maintain proper operational adherence to the company’s SOP policies.
Plan future capacity requirements
Manage workloads across multiple departments, and clients while meeting set SLA and KPI’s.
Logistics; Managing daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries.
Ensures production and quality requirements are met according to company standards.
Produce and maintain regular reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.KPI Info, Employee Productivity, Inventory Analysis, etc.
Manage and plan reduction on daily warehouse material and operational costs.
Maintain and ensure high standards of safety throughout operations.
Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets and daily shipping percentages are met.
Training staff and monitoring their performance and progress.
Delivering, and fulfilling objectives and directions from upper management
Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; and calling for repairs.
This position supervises all employees of the warehouse and is responsible for performance management.
Secures warehouse by turning alarms on; testing systems.
Other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Shipping & Receiving: 5 years (Required).
5 years of warehouse management experience.
5+ years of experience in people management and leadership skills.
Strong knowledge of warehousing key performance indicators (KPIs).
Knowledge of WMS systems.
Experience with warehouse system implementation - 5S.
Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
OSHA training requirements experience is a plus.
Planning and scheduling skills.
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presenting.
Strong Organization and Problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work with all levels of staff.
Ability to lead, coach, manage, and motivate staff.
Good team building and teamwork skills.
Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.

Education

High school Diploma/GED is required.
Some college is preferred.
