JOB SUMMARY
The Traffic Clerk is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials within the company. This role involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely deliveries, and supporting various administrative tasks related to shipping and receiving.

The Traffic Clerk is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials within the company. This role involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely deliveries, and supporting various administrative tasks related to shipping and receiving.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to shipments.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to shipping and receiving activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Education
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or related field is a plus.
Experience
- Previous experience in a logistics or transportation role preferred.
Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Bilingual – English and Spanish, preferred
