Warehouse Associate III (Loader)

2nd Shift Position (1:30PM-10PM). Pay $22.50 to $23.50/hour (shift diff included in this rate).

Sandvik Machining Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global market-leading manufacturer of tools and tooling systems for advanced industrial metal cutting. Products are manufactured in cemented carbide and other hard materials such as diamond, cubic boron nitride and special ceramics.

Key performance areas

As a Warehouse Associate III (Loader), you will be responsible for processing outbound products to customers. In addition, you will also process customer orders for shipment, receiving inbound material from internal and external suppliers, and working within the guidelines of all established policies and procedures. You will need to perform in accordance with established targets and objectives, including but not limited to productivity, quality, attendance, safety and on time shipping performance. Additional responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate III (Loader) include:

Scan, sort and palletize shipments according to the correct gateways, shipping methods and destinations
Organize and prepare Export shipments, ensuring that all customs & invoicing and shipping labels are precisely matched and applied to each destination.
Ability to operate Lifting equipment for loading shipments into the shipping trucks and trailers in accordance to the established safety and security requirements. Valid fork-lift equipment license is required.
Knowledge about C-TPAT requirements related to the Shipping operation.
Good communication skills. Ability to work and dialogue with multiple stakeholders, such as Warehouse Supervisors, Team Leads and Office Personnel to ensure that shipping deadlines are met.
Knowledge about the specific WMS screens related to the Loading and Shipping operation, such as Sandvik Orderline Progression, Shipment Display, Transport Equipment Management Operations screens.
Basic troubleshooting of WMS issues related to Pallet Build and Loading processes
Proper handling of shipping issues such as missing packages and packages not scanned for proper shipping and invoicing to the end destinations.
Be able to maintain an organized and functional workplace to ensure correct quality standards are met.
Ensure all shipments are invoiced, closed and loaded prior to departure.
Perform other warehouse operations such as Picking & Packing of customer orders, Inspection of product to look for damages and ensure proper quality & counting of product based on customer order quantities.
Use of RFT & WMS system to process orders
Perform cycle counts as assigned
Tracks / reports internal errors as required by leadership
Perform Value Added Services (VAS) to ensure product is labeled per customer requirements
Has advanced knowledge to perform work in specialized Warehouse systems such as SOPIC, SAP, EPL-M, M3 etc.
Leads moderate special projects or process improvement activities
Use of Time Management System (Kronos) to track work performed and area assigned
Understanding of basic product knowledge such as insert, tool holder, drills, screws, etc.
Follow all required Sandvik policies, warehouse, safety, environmental & ISO procedures
Willingness and ability to move to areas assigned by supervisor/team lead based on business needs
Perform other tasks as assigned by manager/supervisor

Your profile

The Warehouse Associate III (Loader) must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be on your feet 6-8 hours/day. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of WMS systems and ISO systems. You also have an understanding of all ADC warehouse processes, policies, and procedures. You possess basic computer knowledge, are team driven, result oriented and you have a flexible work schedule. You must be legally permitted to work and reside in the United States.
