We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Credit Risk Management Services Officer based in Ha Noi, Vietnam. In this role, you’re expected to:
Credit Risk Management Services (CRMS) serves as a critical component of our First Line of defense for wholesale and counterparty credit risk management is a first line organization that is part of Institutional Credit Management (ICM). CRMS works through the challenges of the Wholesale Credit Risk Lending processes with the aim of transforming the credit risk process flows including but not limited to credit facility management, legal documentation, collaterals and risk reporting, local regulatory reporting. Importantly, CRMS will coordinate with credit management groups across Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking businesses to ensure full alignment on business and regulatory goals, as well as consistency and best practices where appropriate. Our mandate is to create a world class, end-to-end wholesale credit management platform.

- Controls over the management of credit facilities in line with the credit policy and approval conditions.
- Legal Documentation controls: review for completeness and ensuring retention in accordance with laws and internal risk policies.
- Collateral Process Management- recording, monitoring and reporting of collateral provided by the obligor.
- Provide support in handling and reporting data elements to meet for local regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that quality of data, controls and processes performed meet internal policies and regulatory requirements/ expectations.
- Constantly improve processes, controls and efficiencies within the group and front to back across the credit lifecycle
- Effective stakeholder engagement across multiple business verticals in ICG.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or higher.
- 1-3 years relevant experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Candidate has quantitative skills with a high proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft based programs.
- Individual must work well under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete assigned tasks with minimal management follow up
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Keen attention to detail
- Preferably Credit Risk, Credit Product, Legal Credit Documents knowledge.
- Knowledge of English and Vietnamese language
- A team-player, with positive/can-do approach for motivation
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
