Job description

• Build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity while providing technical leadership, direction, and support.
• Work together on requirements, architecture, infrastructure, and dependencies with other engineering managers.
  Lead the team consistently produces fantastic outcomes.
• Establish best engineering practices for your team and help them grow.
• Coach the engineers in your team and offer opportunities for personal development by assigning tasks based on expertise and interests.
• Assure business and architecture criteria are met by engineering code.
• Mentor engineers in building maintainable, supportable code, including quality, logging, security, monitoring, and alerting. Help establish best practices in this area.

Your skills and experience

• A master's or undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems, or a closely related discipline.
• Five or more years of experience in a professional setting, including at least three years as an engineering manager and previous experience as a tech lead.
• Practical experience working on products throughout the whole product lifecycle as an engineer.
• A product mentality: the capacity to specify objectives, weigh trade-offs, set priorities, defend choices, and carry them out.
• Highly organized - in a fast-paced workplace where many people are doing many different things, it will be important to have great organizing abilities for both you and your team.
• The disposition to succeed in a lively, fast-paced start-up atmosphere.
• Agile methodology expertise.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, reporting, cooperation, and communication abilities.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities with commercial and technical groups.
