About this position...
Key Duties:

• Work with design software to design a range of products in the sublimation industry as requested by the Team in Australia.
• Develop designs to produce a selection of products in a range of apparel items.
• Manage a team of designers.
• Manage team workflow and changing deadlines.
• Work with the Production Manager to drive delivery outcomes and manage priority orders.
• Manage, change and reset target print runs in a demanding environment.
• Collaborate with the Australian & Vietnam Teams designing sports, corporate and teamwear apparel in the sublimation industry.
• Work closely with the head designer in Australia.
• Setup garment templates.
• Forecast workflow priorities and drive outcomes.
• Review work practices, train and develop staff, implement manuals as required.
• Recruit junior staff as required and undertaking training.
• Drive KPI’s .
• Source new products and programs to ensure best practice and efficiency.
• Ensure attention to detail for all custom orders.
• Colour match garments.
• Work with brand guidelines for Octivo, Football, Basketball, AFL and corporate customers.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (12/12) or Vocational School Certification
• Graphic Design certificate/Degree or equivalent
• Ideally experience in the sublimation or garment industry
• Minimum 3 years supervising/managing a small team

• Training will be offered as required for the sublimation process. Both locally and via Australia. Travel to Australia is offered for further training.

• Technical: Proficient in basic computer skills in the Microsoft Environment with strong skills in Corel, Photoshop, Illustrator and design software systems suitable in the garment manufacturing industry.
• Creative: Highly creative and the ability to take an idea and offer a range of designs with attention to detail.
• Language: Strong English and Vietnamese
• Travel: Ability to travel to trade fairs and possibly to Australia for further training.
