As a Scrum Master within our team, you will support and facilitate the Scrum team in Vietnam and foster collaboration with our Japan-based teams, driving project success and team cohesion. You will be responsible for helping everyone understand Scrum theory and practice while coaching team members to become self-managing and cross-functional.

About The Job

Support and facilitate the formation and function of a new Scrum team.
Educate and coach team members on Scrum theory and practices.
Mentor the team to achieve self-management and cross-functionality.
Remove impediments to the team’s progress.
Assist in creating and managing the product backlog.
Collect, analyze, and maintain Scrum metrics.

About You

Bachelor’s degree in relevant background.
Scrum Framework Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience with the Scrum framework.
Software Development: Solid understanding of the software development process.
Language Skills: Proficiency in Japanese (N2 level or higher).
Soft Skills: Independent, responsible, and self-motivated; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have:
Experience in programming or software engineering.
Relevant Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, CSD).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies beyond Scrum (e.g., Lean, XP, TDD, ATDD).
Experience living or working in Japan.
Proficiency in English.
