JOB OVERVIEW
As a Lead Producer, you will be responsible for managing teams to drive the development and live operations of high-quality games within a multi-cultural environment. This role requires strategic oversight of production processes, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to foster clear communication across diverse cultural backgrounds and time zones. You'll lead the team in creating efficient workflows, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones while maintaining quality and technical excellence. As a crucial link between development teams and stakeholders, you will ensure alignment on project goals and priorities, focusing on both short-term objectives and long-term strategic success

RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and artists, ensuring team motivation, cohesion, and productivity.
• Drive the production schedule, define project milestones, and manage workflows, timelines, and budgets.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and productive environment that celebrates diversity and supports team members from varied cultural backgrounds.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Develop, implement, and manage project plans, focusing on achieving key objectives and meeting high technical standards.
• Identify and anticipate project risks; proactively plan and coordinate risk mitigation efforts.
• Partner with technical leads to optimize production pipelines, tools, and processes for enhanced productivity and efficiency.

Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, aligning project vision, priorities, and technical requirements.
• Communicate project status, deliverables, and timelines to stakeholders, adapting communication style to accommodate diverse cultural perspectives.
• Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, community, and QA, to ensure a smooth and coordinated launch and ongoing live service.

Technical Proficiency and Process Improvement:

• Facilitate technical discussions, enabling your team to identify innovative solutions to challenges.
• Ensure team adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimization.
• Lead post-mortem reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and refine production practices.
• Drive projects forward in a fast-pace, analytical environment where feedback is gathered quickly and used to improve the product; we like to instrument, A/B test and improve.

Resource Management:

• Track and manage project resources, and manpower allocation.
• Evaluate project needs and allocate resources effectively, balancing team capacity with project requirements.
• Work with recruitment and HR to address staffing needs, and support team members' growth and development.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluent English is mandatory.
• 5+ years of experience in a production role within the video game industry, with a strong track record of managing technical teams and delivering high-quality games.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Miro) and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in coaching Product Owners and Development team(s) about Project Management practices.
• Good understanding of game development processes and technical requirements. Prior experience with live operations or tech-heavy projects is a plus.
• Strong ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, with experience managing teams across different countries and time zones.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt communication styles to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps.
• Strong analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes and a willingness to embrace diverse perspectives and new ideas.
