The Position


Multi-Channel Excellence (MCE) Manager, Human Pharma
The MCE Manager oversees the local execution of the MCE process and is responsible for the execution of digital tactics by coordinating between internal and external stakeholders. In addition, he/she is a subject matter expert on digital channels and content performance and acts as the main contact person in Country for Regional Operating Unit (ROPU) ASEAN, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand (ASKAN) MCE Team on all MCE related topics (i.e. platforms, campaigns, training, communication, change management, etc).
The scope of responsibility applies to working with various teams in Country such as Field Force and Marketing, Medical, Training, GTM in the OPU MCE implementation.


Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Overall Responsibilities Of The Multi-Channel Excellence Manager
  • Coordinating local stakeholders in the MCE process (PLAN-DESIGN-EXECUTE-ANALYZE) according to Regional ASKAN guidance and support
  • Executing digital tactics in alignment with brand plans (IBP) and customer engagement plans (ICP) according to Regional ASKAN Brand Team/ MCE Team guidance
  • Implementing and maintaining digital channels/platforms/tools according to country needs and regional team guidance
  • Drive optimal utilization of platforms in country by championing governance and KPIs to monitor and track platform utilization through ongoing reporting
  • Overseeing the quality and deployment of local digital content and localized ASKAN or Global assets according to best practices and guidelines
  • Evaluating performance of digital channels and content in collaboration with local stakeholders and supported by ASKAN
  • Sharing of local customer insights and best practices to regional ASKAN MCE Team
  • Country business owner of all digital platforms (such as website, email, campaign and analytics tools, etc)
  • Key contact for any local digital initiatives for testing innovative experiments, reporting and sharing learning with regional ASKAN team

  • Training & Knowledge Sharing
  • Helps the regional H ead of MCE driving overall change management efforts to ensure organizational buy-in to the ASKAN MCE approach, and overall MCE implementation in country
  • Supports cross functionally to gain commitment to adopting MCE/ Platform/ Content/ Training and Change Management in all parts of the organization
  • Supports the development of essential digital knowledge and skills in country Human Pharma (HP) teams such as Commercial and Medical teams, etc
  • Provides or facilitates required training opportunities for stakeholders to acquire necessary skills for Country extended teams to succeed
  • Supports the training of Local HP teams and agency personnel over time to assume their proper responsibility for the implementation of digital content and tools for brand/therapeutic area-specific initiatives
  • Celebrates and share best practices / key learnings with relevant Corporate, ASKAN Center and Country stakeholders
  • Be the expert, expertise center and go-to person in OPU for any digital Platform/ Content/Training/ Change Management enquiries

  • Adhere To Compliance And Regulations At All Times

  • Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals and follow Boehringer Ingelheim's Code of Conduct
  • Take necessary action on issues of compliance
  • Be a role model in compliance with local regulations, industry and company code of conduct and maintain integrity
  • Leading by example, this role always keeps operations above board

Requirements:
Minimum Education / Degree Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
Required Capabilities (Skills, Experience, Competencies):
  • At least 5 years working experience in digital marketing and transformation experience required - digital platforms, content, training, change management
  • Experience in website management and email marketing
  • Experience in planning and executing digital marketing campaign with tagging and reporting that enables content and channel optimisation at country level against target segments and user journeys
  • Understanding of Adobe Campaign (campaign management, email marketing and campaign automation) and Adobe Target (campaign optimization, web personalization) or similar systems
  • Understanding of Adobe Dynamic Tag Management and Adobe Analytics or similar systems
  • Understanding of Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Veeva Email, Salesforce.com, Analytics platforms or similar systems
  • Being able to advice senior management in clear language about the implications of their work for the organisation
  • Being able to work independently with minimal guidance; determine own priorities and monitor resources within own work
  • Experience in training of Digital and multi-channel marketing initiatives having lead project teams across functions and without authority
  • Passionate about technology and obvious interest in digital
  • Proven Project-, Process- and Change Management skills
  • Proven ability to think strategically and act operationally
  • Advanced organization skills across multiple, simultaneous initiatives
  • Proven experience working with digital agencies
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • English command at fluent level in writing/ speech.
