Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture push belt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering solutions from product engineering, tool development & automation as well as testing & validation solutions (Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam).

In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Currently four products are available: connectors, push belt, fuel supply, and diagnosis module (tank leakage).

Job Description

• Assume the role of Technical Project Lead for acquisition and/or application within the automotive and adjacent market sectors, specifically for Project Class E, which may function at a Class C support level.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product specifications and all documents related to acquisition and/or application, as well as platform/serial support and innovation.
• Serve as the Business Unit Coordinator/Owner for Technical Customer Documents (TCD), Design for Environment (Df E), Pro Codex, RBGF182, and other related initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Experience leading acquisition or application projects with external customers.
• Strong ability to establish personal relationships and foster a positive working environment, including effective conflict resolution.
• Skilled in exchanging information within and outside one's area of expertise, collaborating effectively with all stakeholders.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent presentation skills with fluent communication abilities.
• Experience with FEM simulation (e.g., Abaqus, COMSOL) is preferred to support specific engineering tasks.
