Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (IS), the Senior Account Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing account strategies and plans in Vietnam, in line with the category strategy, corporate requirements, and guidelines. This role is pivotal in driving business growth, building long-term customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of planned business results in the dairy and food industry, with a focus on functional and natural ingredients.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic account plans for key dairy accounts in Vietnam, aligning with category strategies and overall corporate goals
• Translate these plans into measurable financial profitability goals and ensure accountability for top-line profit performance
• Build and nurture sustainable, cross-functional networks within key accounts, establishing long-term, value-driven partnerships
• Identify and pursue long-term business opportunities within the account(s), incorporating these into the overall account strategy
• Stay abreast of market trends, customer requirements, and competitive strategies, benchmarking dsm-firmenich’s products and business approaches against key competitors
• Act as a product and application expert for key customers, coordinating and delivering relevant training programs for distributors and customers on the product portfolio

You bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related field
• 8-10 years of sales experience, preferably in technical or ingredient sales
• In-depth knowledge of the food and beverage industry in Vietnam, with proven experience working within the Vietnam Food Industry
• Prior experience working for a dairy manufacturer in a technical or sales capacity is essential
• Strong understanding of dsm-firmenich’s ingredients and solutions, particularly starter cultures, enzymes, hydrocolloids, nutritional ingredients, and flavors
• Strong customer focus, with a proven ability to build long-term relationships and deliver results in a competitive market
