About the Role
Based on 15-30 hours per week, this role works under the guidance of the Senior Management Accountant in the Whitsundays region and works closely with the wider Sea Link Finance team to provide financial services for the Whitsundays operations.


The role will provide hands on support for the day to day finance transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, daily takings from operations, corporate credit cards/petty cash transactions and bank reconciliations.


The role will also support the Senior Management Accountant with EOM and EOFY processes including general ledger journals, balance sheet and payroll reconciliations.

About You


We're looking for an efficient and motivated team player with a genuine desire to work in accounts. You may be looking for casual or part time work with a guaranteed minimum and the ability to schedule your hours around school or other commitments.


Ideally you will have the following:

• Accurate numerical ability and data entry skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly and to work to deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management with the ability to effectively work within and across teams.
• Self-motivated, professional and reliable.
• High attention to detail.
