Afternoon Shift Clearners Required (Cobram 3644 VIC)

Job description
As a service provider to the food processing industry, our employees service a critical role in ensuring the highest level of hygiene and sanitation to ensure the food process factories/plants can continue to provide food and nutrition to our local communities and society.
  • Cleaning a meat processing factory (abattoir)
  • Available to start ASAP
  • Must not be sensitive to sight or smell
  • Must be able to use chemicals for hygiene and sanitation requirements
  • Will be required to follow cleaning process and hold a hose for extended period
  • Factory is in Cobram, VIC 3644
  • Afternoon Shift 4pm - 12am (Monday - Friday)
  • Paid under the "Cleaning Services Award" MA00022
  • Physically demanding position (lifting, bending, kneeling, standing)
  • Required to have Q Fever vaccination - if successful, this will be organized for you by the business.
  • Adequate training provided at site
  • Required to complete online application & online induction prior to starting
  • Cleaning animal fat, blood and other animal proteins.
Physical requirements
  • Standing for the entirety of the shift (6-8 hours)
  • Frequently and repetitively squat and extend arms
  • Frequently and repetitively bend, crouch, twist and kneel
  • Carry chemical drums weighing up to 25kg
  • Carry industrial hoses weighing up to 25kg

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $34.96 per hour
Schedule:
  • Afternoon shift
Supplementary Pay:
  • Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Cobram, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
