Bynder is actively seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team to lead our growing business in the Asia Pacific region. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to high value and high impact delivery at a very exciting time for Bynder.
The APAC Sales Manager - Team Lead will contribute independently with new business, manage operations, develop business and increase profitability to multiple market segments. This is an exciting opportunity to join at a APAC Sales Manager - Team Lead level position and help to shape the direction of a fast-growing business in Australia.
Reporting to the CRO, this role would ideally suit an individual with 5 years plus experience within the Mar Tech sector and involves working with some of the world's leading brands.
What you will do:
- Recruit, train and lead a sales team in exceeding individual and team quotas against budgeted financial objectives.
- Coach direct reports on strategies to drive sales wins; conduct regular training on situational selling, product, and process.
- Accurately report on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management.
- Consistent monitoring of the sales activity of the team and tracking of results
- Actively lead and monitor demand-generation activities
- Performance Management
- Drive performance throughout the sales cycle, including outbound calls, client demos and conversion rates
- Conduct weekly forecast meetings with the team and executive staff
- Conduct weekly 1:1s and team pipeline reviews, manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals to ensure above-quota results based on successful pipeline management
- Responsible for driving team quotas and ensure performance is exceeded while tracking the results
- Lead client presentations, including discovery sessions, product demonstrations and proposals
- Work collaboratively across the organization to include executive leadership, marketing, product and engineering teams
- Stay educated about market conditions and competition
What you bring:
- Available to work APAC hours
- Intend to relocate to Melbourne
- 5 years minimum experience in B2B and Saa S sales
- 3 years minimum experience in management or leadership role
- Knowledge of Challenger Sales Model, MEDDICC, SPIN Selling, Command of the Message a plus
- Demonstrates success in leading a high-performing sales team within a Saa S sales environment
- Proven experience exceeding sales quotas and accurate forecasting
- Proven successful experience in the Digital Asset Management field.
- Successful track record in a high transaction sales environment, closing business and exceeding quota
- Experience selling to marketing and creative teams
- Experience managing individual contributors, leading by example, and inspiring a team to foster the right behaviors
- Training experience, including the ability to lead from a consultative sales approach
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to think of solutions on the spot
- Passion for technology, Saa S, cloud vertical
- Experience with Sales model, Spin selling, and or MEDDIC a plus
- Experience selling in B2B, Saa S/Cloud, DAM, or CMS
- Thrives in start-up and collaborative environment
- Experience/ Knowledge of the APAC DAM Market
