Application Assessor | KU Inclusion Development Fund Manager, Sydney
  • Impactful Office/WFH based ECEC role
  • Inclusive culture within a longstanding team
  • Awarded Sector Employer of Choice x 9 years in a row
Who We Are:
The Inclusion Development Fund Manager (IDFM) is the single national organisation responsible for management of the Inclusion Development Fund (IDF), which is a key element of the Inclusion Support Program (ISP). IDF is available to eligible ECEC services, including long day care, outside school hours care and family day care, to address barriers to inclusion. The IDFM ensures a nationally consistent and equitable application of the IDF eligibility requirements to all applications from ECEC services.
KU Children's Services (KU) operates this program and is a leading not for profit provider of nearly 110 early childhood education and care services in NSW, VIC, the ACT and QLD. Established in 1895, KU is one of Australia’s most experienced and respected providers of long day care, preschool, outside school hours care, family programs and early intervention services. KU also operates programs on behalf of the Australian Government and provides professional services to the early childhood sector and the wider community.
The Role:
This opportunity offers a hybrid working arrangement between our IDFM Office in Sydney’s CBD on Market street and working from home.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals and use your expertise as an ECEC or Primary teacher to support ECEC services across Australia to include children with additional needs alongside their peers. This position suits teachers who are process orientated with an eye for detail and enjoy working both with a team and on your own.
This fulltime or 4 day opportunity within our IDFM team will suit an Early Childhood Education Professional who has a teaching background and looking to bring their significant sector knowledge to aid in providing appropriate access to IDF, with a focus on educators’ changing their practices to provide inclusive environments for all children, in line with the National Quality Standards and Approved Learning Frameworks. Due being a government funded program this position is offered on a fixed term contract until 30 June 2025 which may be extended.
The Application Assessor’s role is to assess applications for Inclusion Development Fund (IDF), in line with the Inclusion Support Program (ISP) Guidelines and the IDF Policy and Practice Framework. The position will communicate with ECEC services and Inclusion Agencies to build understanding of the IDF and application processes and will contribute to continuous improvement of the IDFM.
