The opportunity…
We have a newly created opportunity for an Application Support individual to join our Commercial, Performance & Risk team within our newly merged, Downer Energy & Utilities business.
Reporting to the Application Lead, this role will focus on the integration, development & maintenance of Ineight Solutions Suite across the Downer E&U business. A day in the life of this role involves prioritising and actioning a variety of queries and troubleshooting requests via our formal ticketing system. You will be provided direction from your Application Lead, and this will form part of the roadmap followed for improvements, updates & application advancements. Ensuring the application is aligned to the business priorities & requirements.
The location of this position is flexible however Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne is preferred. We value flexibility and proudly offer hybrid working options.
Our ideal candidate…
You understand our business and the work that we do and are passionate about providing the right solutions to enable our end users to do what they do best. Your prior experience of the development and support of applications, coupled with your knowledge of methodologies and processes for IT projects will ensure your success in this role.
Your consultative approach and ability to communicate with individuals of varying technical expertise will enable key relationships to be built as well as an exceptional end user support experience.
A relevant IT degree would be advantageous although we welcome applications from varying backgrounds. Experience in the development and support of applications is critical.
