**We are seeking a keen and enthusiastic Apprentice Carpenter to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about learning the carpentry trade, with a focus on steel frame construction, cladding, decking, and pergola installations. You will gain hands-on experience while working alongside skilled professionals who will guide you through your apprenticeship journey.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Assist in the assembly and installation of steel frames.- Support the team with exterior cladding projects.- Learn and contribute to the construction of decks and pergolas.- Safely use hand and power tools under the supervision of experienced carpenters.- Follow detailed instructions to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.- Participate in all required training and development programs.
**Qualifications:**- Strong interest in carpentry and a desire to build a career in the trade.- Basic knowledge of or willingness to learn about hand and power tools.- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.- Good physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor conditions.- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.- Completion of Year 10 (or equivalent) is preferred.- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
