Console Operators are required to follow the communicated instructions when discharging a range of duties including, customer service, fuel dispensing, food safety, stock management, environmental compliance, tobacco compliance and health and safety compliance. At all times Console Operators must complete the tasks assigned to them in a safe and compliant manner and conduct themselves to the standards and expectations outlined in the communicated instructions. Console Operators key activities include; Presenting for work clean and tidy in prescribed uniform at all times, on time and prepared to work shifts as rostered, acting responsibly and honestly in promoting the businesses image with customers and general public, operating cash register as instructed maintaining cash, credit and void sale levels and operations as per Standard Operating Procedures and task instructions including; maintaining appropriate cash draw balances, till balancing and credit checking, operating console as instructed ensuring safe and compliant dispensing of petroleum products, maintaining inventory and stock control, as per task instructions and allocations, receiving deliveries and ensuring shelves are stocked and neat, maintaining food stock according to demonstrated and communicated food handling instructions, including documenting requirements, maintaining a clean and safe site while on shift including completion of assigned cleaning tasks, exercising caution in dealing with potential workplace hazards, always following Standard Operating Procedures and task instructions, and reporting potential risks, hazards, incidents and near misses, performing other ancillary tasks, within skills and competence, as instructed by supervisor or management, assisting in the provision of onboarding training for new staff as requested, utilizing communication tools including Whats App and Site Diary.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $33.99 – $44.34 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

Weekend availability
