We are on the lookout for an exceptional Sales Assistant for shifts at our new Miranda store and we can offer you for shifts between 12 to 24 hours a week
The position:
Job Description:
As a Casual Retail Salesperson at Boori, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Customer Engagement: Greeting customers warmly, assisting them with product inquiries, and providing personalized recommendations to meet their needs.
• Sales Generation: Actively promoting products, upselling, and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensuring the store is well-presented at all times by maintaining visual standards, organizing displays, and restocking merchandise.
• Point of Sale Operations: Processing transactions accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and maintaining a tidy and organized checkout area.
• Stock Management: Monitoring inventory levels, replenishing stock on the shop floor, and participating in stocktaking activities as required.
• Adherence to Policies: Following company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and operational guidelines.

• Computer literacy is required and an experience in either furniture or bedding retail will be highly regarded

Experience:

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles is advantageous but not essential. We welcome enthusiastic individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the retail industry.

This position is casual, offering flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the business.
